The housebuilder recently acquired the site, off Fairholm Avenue, after obtaining planning permission from South Lanarkshire Council.
This development will be aimed at first time buyers, growing families and downsizers.
In addition to the homes, Persimmon is investing over £2m in the local area with donations linked to affordable housing, education and road improvements.
